Edit a Custom Field

TheBoatApp provides you with the ability to use Custom Fields to add any attribute you wish to document and track in a data-record (e.g. Inventory). Each added custom field can be configured as:

  • Access the respective module where you want to add a custom-fields, click the three-dots menu button on the right-side and select the “Custom Fields” option.


How to Register & Manage Custom Fields

  • Add a Custom-field: after accessing the custom-fields (see above), click the “+ Add field” button and go ahead to fulfil the name you want to use for this custom-field as well as select the format to be used:

    • Alphanumeric

    • Number

    • Date

    • Pick-list: for setting up pre-defined values

  • After doing so, click the “Create field” button to confirm and create your new custom-field.
