Register an Account


Signing up for an account can be either done on TheBoatDB or TheBoatApp web sites as well as via both Android and iOS Mobile Apps. So, let's see how we may register a new user account via the platform's web interface.

How to Register an Account

  1. Access TheBoatDB.com or TheBoatApp.com
  2. Click on the "Try Gold for FREE" button or alternatively the "Login" button and then "Sign up" (bottom of the form)

You are now on the account registration screen. Input your:
  1. First Name
  2. Last Name
  3. Email address: make sure to use a valid e-mail address since you'll need later on to confirm your account
  4. Password: to better safeguard your account a secure password is required containing at least eight (8) characters, including one (1) capital, one (1) small-case and one (1) number



Click "Create account" and then check your mailbox (the one corresponding to the email address you have used!) for the email verification. On this email, locate the verification code. Then, press the "Enter code" button on the web site and paste your code to complete your account registration. If you haven't received an email within a couple of minutes, click the "Resend email" button



You are now registered and ready to go! Please log in and proceed to Register your Boat.
