What it Does

TheBoatDB provides the ability to all boat lovers to explore boats and specifications, shortlist your favourite boats and compare side-to-side. Much more, you can add your very own boat, and benchmark it versus other boats.

TheBoatDB provides an intuitive interface to be able to browse and compare easily while in this knowledge-base, you will be able to find information on how to use the various features. In case you don't, no worries, just drop us a line by opening a web ticket or do so via email to Support@MarineDataCloud.com.

How it Works

Although you may use most of TheBoatDB  features as a visitors (without login in), you are advised to register to be able to get the full functionality, such as adding your very own boat, shortlisting your favourite boats and more. Go ahead to Register an Account and then Register your Boat (you may do this later on). You are now ready to access all of TheBoatDB features such as:

  1. My Boats: register your boat, along with the full technical characteristics and specifications. Have automatic performance ratios calculations and much more.
  2. Benchmark boats: see how your boat or any boat in the database will perform to other ones
  3. Search & Explore: search through all the boats, by technical characteristics or specifications you may need to. Find those boats satisfying your criteria and save them in your favourites
  4. Discover user boats: searching for a boat already owned and cruising the seven seas? User boats is exactly this. Not just some brand-model specs but the specifics of a named boat, already owned by a fellow cruiser!
  5. Save as favourite: shortlist the boats you are eyeing. They will be saved in your account waiting you to return!
